Shaun Cassidy Saint Louis Concert reviews
Good show!
"I've been to Alegria back in 2005 when it was at the Suffolk Downs in Boston. That show was unforgettable. It had a very dream-like quality and had amazing feats I had never seen before. I've been wishing I could see Shaun Cassidy again ever since and was SO EXCITED when I heard Corteo was going to be at the Agganis Arena on the Boston University campus. I took my boyfriend who has never seen them. In comparison, Corteo seemed very drawn out, almost like the clown acts were there to take up your time so they did not have to pay extra performers. Is this due to the economy? I felt that with Alegria it was one act after another after another. Very little down time. With Corteo there was a lot of time with clowns that really had little to do with the show. What was the whole snowstorm about? With the old clown and the suitcase? Watching a clown tromp through "fake" snow for what seemed like 20 minutes was boring. When my boyfriend bought the Official Program for me I noticed that in the Program there were acts that we never even saw yesterday during the show. Are certain acts taken out? I was a little disappointed with the show as a whole but I enjoyed the music and the Russian Beams portion of the show at the end. I will go to another show in the future, but I would definitely recommend Alegria over Corteo any day."
